Key Responsibilities:

In this remote oncologist role, you will:

• Provide online oncology consultations for cancer diagnosis, treatment planning and follow-up care.
• Diagnose and manage cancer cases across stages using evidence-based oncology practices.
• Guide and monitor treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormonal therapy.
• Review diagnostic reports such as biopsy results, imaging, pathology reports and lab investigations.
• Provide pre- and post-treatment counselling and long-term cancer care guidance.
• Offer clinical guidance related to advanced cancer procedures, including robotic and minimally invasive surgical interventions, where applicable.
• Prescribe medications, recommend investigations and coordinate multidisciplinary cancer care when required.
• Maintain accurate digital medical records and consultation notes using MantraDoc’s platform.
• Refer patients for in-person evaluation, hospital-based treatment or emergency care when clinically necessary.
• Deliver ethical, patient-centred oncology care aligned with professional medical standards.

Qualifications & Requirements:

To qualify for this oncology doctor job in Japan, you should have:

• An MBBS degree with MD/DNB/DM in Oncology (Medical, Surgical or Radiation Oncology) or equivalent qualification.
• Valid registration with the relevant medical council.
• Clinical experience in cancer diagnosis, treatment and patient management.
• Expertise in oncology therapies including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy and hormonal therapy.
• Ability to conduct oncology consultations effectively in a remote or online setting.
